Marvel and Hasbro loot

Hi folks, taken me a while to get around to this post (yes I am very lazy) but here we are. As well as game stuff I collect a lot of other stuff too. Stuff from Marvel, DC, Transformers stuff etc.

So the other week I was crusing ebay looking for Iron Man stuff. To my surprise, some of the last wave of Iron Man 2 have hit the UK! these really are just repaints of previous figures, but they look nice and shiney, so I had to have them! Here they are:

Great line of figures these, plenty of articulation, nice detailing, nice paints, great designs of course. Such a shame that Hasbro cheaped out with the new Iron man 3 line. Now those are really bad! saves my wallet for other things though I suppose.. Now with things I have space to display; I take them out of the packaging and throw it away. But since I have no room they have joined the other ones on the wall:

Next up we have a couple of Transformers from 'Transformers: Prime'. Leader of the Decepticons: Megatron and Ultra Magnus of the Autobots! Designs are nice for their robot modes, but unfortunately the quality of the materials used is horrible. There is hardly no weight to these at all (previous Transformers stuff of this size was a lot more heavy in previous lines) and the plastic is very thin! I have seen knock-offs with better quality plastic.

Apart from that they are OK, they do look pretty decent. Magnus though has very floppy arms and a heavy weapon, so needs two hands to hold the damn thing. Hasbro really are a shit company lately, with all the retarded decisions they are making, it makes me wonder that sort of crazy shit they are smoking.

This is what they transform into, Magnus is very easy to transform, so easy in fact that the design in this way just seems lazy. Decent-ish looking truck thing, but they could have done better. Megatron is fiddly at first, and ends up with a very rubbish looking flying....thing. Again this is very lazy design work here.

Next up is the best of the haul, Marvel select venom! This figure really is great, as are all Diamond's stuff. They really do make great quality items, that completely shit on anything Hasbro can come up with. Here it is:

As you can see, this has some nice detail, is quite large, has plenty of articulation and is just awesome. He has three sets of hands that are swappable, 3 swappable heads, and that back part with the extra arms and heads can be removed if you wish. So lots of choice and ways to display it!

So there you have it. I have some console related videos I need to throw onto YouTube soon so watch out for those.

To finish off, here is a pic of one of my shelves of interesting items:
